Worry Warriors
Coping with Stress In and Out of the Classroom
Worry Warriors is a Group designed to help students practice positive coping skills when dealing with anxiety, worry and stress. In group we will be practicing identifying the effects of worry on the body, labeling worries, and practicing strategies for managing anxiety.
Most importantly group allows students to identify they are not alone in this struggle. Group is an opportunity for each student to share their story in a safe and comfortable environment.

Review, Remind, React
Social Thinking
This group is designed to teach and review expectations placed in the classroom. Some of the topics we discuss will be a review from life skills classes, other topics will teach new concepts for a social way of thinking.
Examples of weekly topics: Whole body listening, Size of my problem vs reaction, Developing a flexible mind, Self-control and review of expectations for students.
This group will encourage students to focus on being the best learner they can be, teach new and basic techniques to refocus and develop teamwork skills for group work.
